Language and Composition

The Language and Composition mediabook helps students develop their writing skills by identifying and explaining the steps involved in the writing process. In addition to writing processes and mechanics, our lessons cover seven types of essays: personal and descriptive, compare and contrast, cause and effect, classification and definition, argumentation, persuasive, and literary analysis. Also addressed are different forms of business writing, as well as effective and ethical research techniques, utilizing Modern Language Association (MLA) or American Psychological Association (APA) styles.
